Weekly Update

Life at full speed, and no time for blogging. Will try to be more frequent. It’s not because there’s a lack of content.

I’ve decided to move more towards a format where I put a lot of interesting links in each post. Just so I can catch up. These are things I’ve come across within the last week that I’ve found interesting:

Avalon on Channel 9 - An hour long video with the Avalon folks. Things get interesting about 34 mins into it. Then skip ahead to around 43 mins. Get ready for non-standard UIs to be everywhere. Not sure if that’s a good thing.
TopDesk - For die-hard Mac fans who want their XP machines to act like OSX Expose. It looks really good. A great implementation. Personally, I prefer the Windows most recently used alt-tab metaphor much better. But for the visual users, this is great.
Geeks Rule and MBAs Drool - Another great read by Eric Sink. This guy is just great fun to read. He seems to know how to write about any subject in a way that makes perfect sense to a programmer.
OQO - This may very well be my next “laptop”. Of course, doesn’t the PSP have most of these features? And it’s only $300 (as opposed to $1800). Hmm, maybe it won’t be my next laptop.

Game Time - Pandaf Golf - I got to level 16 before I gave up - MLTJOT
