CG or Real?

Take a look at these pictures. G-Cans Project

Are they real? They look like they’ve been taken straight out of Half Life 2. Unbelievable, but supposedly they are real pictures. It’s a real underground waterway system in Japan. This blog article has some information about the huge structure.
It’s crazy how much they look like Half-Life 2.

This reminded me of the Maya Fake or Foto contest. Can you tell the difference?
